Description : TATA BLITOX ( Copper Oxychloride 50% WP ) is a broad spectrum fungicide which controls the fungal with contact action. It also effectively controls the fungus resistant to other fungicides.
Name of Disease : Leaf spot, Fruit rot, Late and Early blight, Root rot, Downy mildew, Blast, Canker, Blister blight, Black rot, Red rust.
Recommended Crops : Potato, Tomato, Chilli, Cumin, Banana, Citrus, Grapes and Tea.
Application : Foliar spray.
Dosage : 2gm per 1litre of water. 350-400gm in 180-200litre of water per acre.
Precautions : 1. Avoid inhalation & skin contact. 2. Wash contaminated skin & clothes. 3. Do not eat, drink or smoke during application. 4. Destroy empty containers after use.
Antidote : 1. Empty stomach by gastric lavage with milk or preferably a/v sol of potassium ferrocyanide. Administer egg white and other dermal cents. Maintain elctrolite and fluid balance. Morphin or pethidine may be given to control pain. Dode of penicillamine 15-40 mg/kg/day (max 1-2 gm/day divided into four dosage) should be administered five days. 2. Dimercaprol can be given 3 mg/kg every four hours for first four days and 2mg/kg every 12 hours for a total of 10 days. Give within first four hours as per poisoning to obtain maximum benefit. Dimercaprol administered intravenously.
