Description : PROFEX SUPER ( Profenofos 40% + Cypermethrin 4% EC ) is a combination product of organophosphorous and pyrethriods compound. It is a broad spectrum insecticide having contact and stomach action . It is used for control bollworms on cotton.
Target Pests : Bollworm complex, Aphids, Jassids, Thrips, Shoot borer, Fruit borer, whiteflies, Hispa, Leaf roller, Gall midge, Stem borer, Pod borer, Cutworm, Black bug, Pyrilla, Root grub, Grey weevil, Diamond vlack moth.
Recommended Crops : Cotton, Bhindi, Brinjal, Soyabean, Paddy.
Application : Foliar spray.
Dosage : 2ml per 1 litre of water/350-400ml 180-200 litre os water per acre.
Precautions : 1. Keep out of reach children, pets and other animals. 2. Avoid contact with different body parts and do not inhale in product. 3. Wear protective clothing while handling the material and also during spraying in the field. Use hand gloves, cotton mask, eye shield overalls and shoes. 4. Do not smoke, eat or drink during handling and applications.
Antidote : Atropine in addition oxime preparations such as Toxognin under medical supervision. Inject 2 to 4 mg of atropine sulphate (for children 0.5 to 2 mg according to age ) i.v. or i.m. Every 5-10 minutes until signs of atropinazation occurs. The patient must remain atropinised for a sufficient length of time ( 24 to 48 hours ) to prevent subsequent poisoning due to delayed resorption.
